Mazkur maqolada shahar atmosferasining ifloslanish manbalari, xususan, sanoat chiqindilari va ularning ekologik hamda sanitariya-gigiyenik oqibatlari ilmiy jihatdan tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot jarayonida sanoat korxonalarining havoga chiqarayotgan asosiy zararli moddalar turlari, ularning inson salomatligiga, o‘simlik va hayvonot olamiga ko‘rsatadigan salbiy ta’siri o‘rganilgan. Shuningdek, sanoat chiqindilarini kamaytirishning zamonaviy texnologik yechimlari, filtratsiya tizimlari va ekologik nazorat usullari taklif etilgan.
